Manusia sebagai HOMO SAPIENS :
Homo SAPIENS adalah mahluk yang berpikir sehingga merupakan mahluk yang cerdas
dan bijaksana. Dengan daya pikirnya manusia dapat berpikir apakah yang sebaiknya
dilakukan pada masa sekarang atau masa yang akan datang berdasar kan pertimbangan
masa lalu yang merupakan pengalaman. Pemikiran yang sifatnya abstrak merupakan
salah satu wujud budaya manusia yang kemudian diikuti wujud budaya lain, berupa
tindakan atau perilaku, ataupun kemampuan mengerjakan suatu tindakan.

Manusia sebagai HOMO FABER:
Homo Faber : artinya manusia dapat membuat alat-alat dan mempergunakannya atau
disebut sebagai manusia kerja dengan salah satu tindakan atau wujud budayanya berupa
barang buatan manusia (artifact). Manusia menciptakan alat-alat karena menyadari
kemampuan inderanya terbatas, sehingga diupayakan membuat peralatan sebagai sarana
pembantu untuk mencapai tujuan. Misalnya, karena indera matanya tidak mampu melihat
angkasa luar atau mahluk kecil-kecil maka diciptakan teropong bintang dan mikroskop,
karena terbatasnya kekuatan fisik maka diciptakannya roda sebagai sarana utama
keretauntuk mengangkut barang-barang berat.

Manusia sebagai HOMO LANGUENS:
Homo Languens: adalah manusia dapat berbicara sehingga apa yang menjadi pemikiran
dalam otaknya dapat disampaikan melalui bahasa kepada manusia lain. Bahasa
sebagai ekspresi dalam tingkat biasa adalah bahasa lisan. Antara suku bangsa dengan
suku bangsa lain terdapat perbedaan bahasa. Di tingkat bangsa, perbedaan bahasa
tersebut akan semakin jauh. Perbedaan lebih tinggi diwujudkan dalam tulisan sehingga
sebuah pemikiran dapat diterima oleh bangsa atau generasi bangsa lain (bila tahu
mengartikannya).

Manusia sebagiai HOMO SOCIUS:
Manusia sebagai HOMO SOCIUS artinya manusia dapat hidup bermasyarakat, bukan
bergerombol seperti binatang yang hanya mengenal hukum rimba, yaitu yang kuat yang
berkuasa. Manusia bermasyarakat diatur dengan tata tertib demi kepentingan bersama.
Dalam masyarakat manusia terjadi tindakan tolong-menolong. Dengan tindakan itu,
walaupun fisiknya relatif lemah, tetapi dengan kemampuan nalar yang panjang tujuan-
tujuan bermasyarakat dapat dicapai.

Manusia sebahai HOMO ECCONOMICUS
Artinya manusia dapat mangadakan usaha atas dasar perhitungan ekonomi (homo
economicus). Salah satu prinsip dalam hukum ekonomi adalah, bahwa semua
kegiatan harus atas dasar untung-rugi, untung apabila input lebih besar daripada
output, rugi sebaliknya. Dalam tingkat sederhana manusia mencukupi kebutuhannya
sendiri, kemudian atas dasar jasa maka dikembangkan sistem pasar sehingga hasil
produksinya dijual di pasaran. Makin luas pemasaran barang makin banyak diperoleh
keuntungan. Salah satu usaha meningkatkan produktivitas kerja dapat dijalankan dengan
mempergunakan teknologi modern sehingga dapat ditingkatkan produktivitas kerja

manusia.

Manusia sebagai HOMO RELIGIUS
Artinya manusia menyadari adanya kekauatan ghaib yang memiliki kemampuan lebih
hebat daripada kemampuan manusia, sehingga menjadikan manusia berkepercayaan atau
beragama. Dalam tahap awal lahir animisme, dinamisme, dan totenisme yang sekarang
dikategorikan sebagai kepercayaan, kadang-kadang dikatakan sebagai agama alami.
Kemusian lahirlah kepercayaan yang disebut sebagai agama samawi yang percaya kepada
Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, percaya kepada nabiNya, dan kitab suciNya yang dipergunakan
sebagai pedoman.

Manusia sebagai HOMO HUMANUS dan HOMO AESTETICUS:
Artinya manusia berbudaya, sedangkan homo aesteticus artinya manusia yang tahu akan
keindahan. Dari perbedaan-perbedaan yang sedemikian banyak makin nyata bahwa
manusia memang memilki sifat-sifat yang unik yang jauh berbeda dari pada hewan
apalagi tumbuhan. Sehingga manusia tidak dapat disamakan dengan binatang atau
tumbuhan

SEJARAH EKONOMI INDONESIA ORDE LAMA

Selama Pemerintahan Orde Lama, keadaan perekonomian Indonesia sangat buruk, walaupun sempat mengalami pertumbuhan dengan laju rata-rata per tahun hampir 7% selama dekade 1950-an, dan setelah itu turun drastis menjadi rata-rata per tahun hanya 1,9% atau bahkan nyaris mengalami stagflasi selama tahun 1965-1966. Tahun 1965 dan 1966 laju pertumbuhan ekonomi atau produk domestic bruto (PDB) masing-masing hanya sekitar 0,5% dan 0,6%.

Tingginya tingkat inflasi yang sempat mencapai lebih dari 300% menjelang akhir periode Orde Lama
